I have known Mr. Gary Boyd for several years as a student and colleague at the University of the Incarnate Word. Mr. Boyd has strong presentation skills in both public speaking and multimedia presentation. He is technologically savvy, as you see from his vita in the number of businesses he has helped with their transition to electronic communication.
He has good analytical skills, helping him to determine the issue(s) under debate and to formulate the types of research questions needed to answer these issues.
He also has good research skills, which allow him to review relevant information and come to a good conclusion concerning the best way forward.
Mr. Boyd works with others well in formulating group decision-making. He is always prepared for meetings and conversations concerning the issues of the day. His sense of humor is engaging and helps others to feel a part of the group and to advance the task at hand. He is committed to his work and is a very hard worker while making work a positive experience for those around him.
Mr. Boyd is a scholarly individual. He reads voraciously and widely, which informs his conversation and thinking on issues. He has good research instincts and capabilities. He is methodological in his research, and is not prone to error. If he errs, it is on the side of caution in order to not over-exaggerate the actual data results.
